Allison Jones

This production of Romeo and Juliet was a family-friendly touring version. The costumes were a modern adaptation with period influences. I played with 60's silhouettes and introduced asymmetrical and street-style qualities. The color palette was inspired by the signature wedding colors of the season to further emphasize the happy ending that was robbed from the two lovers. The costumes were limited by a smaller scale budget, and had to be able to travel quickly and efficiently.
