Allison Jones

While designing this show, I was inspired by nature; specifically patterns and colors within different species of butterfly.​ I also looked into types of birds that are known to eat butterflies. For Song, I wanted to play on the concept that she appears as the butterfly when in reality she was secretly devouring Rene who was the real butterfly. Song's motifs would gradually transform from that of a butterfly to a bird to further emphasize her deception and power.
